Jess and Matt’s elopement at Starling Lane Vineyard in Victoria BC, was truly a perfect blend of nature and romance. I started working wtih Jess and Matt in 2023 and we had their elopement planned within weeks. Vendors were booked, retainers were paid, literally everything was planned and ready to go. Then we got the hiccup and a rather major one at that, which was completely 100% out of anyone’s control. We were now back at square one and now their already planned elopement was going to be in a completely different city and area of the island, which means that we need all new vendors etc. This felt completely devastating to all of us… however in the back of my mind I am a true believer that everything happens for a reason and that this would actually work out better. The two of them came together in problem-solving mode and after a quick search, found Starling Lane Vineyard, which ended up being the most incredible and suiting place for their elopement.

At Starling Lane Vineyard, there is an undeniable magic and charm to it, so after viewing it, Jess and Matt booked it right away for their elopement. The property is a tranquil atmosphere that’s perfect for an elopement with it quiet beauty, although the peacocks will say “Hi” every now and again! Their day was filled with so much magic and love and I think each and everyone of us was thankful for the hiccup that ended in bringing us all to Starling Lane Vineyard!

Jess and Matt’s elopement was a day to remember forever and I am truly thankful for our little hiccup.

Once the venue was booked, everything else fell into place. It was truly meant to be. Starling Lane Vineyard truly provides everything you need for the perfect day and more. With endless photo ops and their absolutely incredible dahlia flower garden, Starling Lane Vineyard is a perfect blend of natural rustic beauty with the elegance and romantic charm that Jess and Matt were looking for. They were truly able to focus on their elopement day and what truly matters: celebrating their love, enjoying each and every moment, and soaking in the beauty around them.
